This sensitive and beautifully animated live shadow puppet production of Oscar Wilde's much loved tale is followed by an extensive workshop on shadows and shadow puppetry. Hand shadows, light, shade, opacity, silhouette cutting, silhouette films, the use of overhead projectors, Indonesian wayang kulit figures are all featured.

Suggested age range - supervised rising 7 - 11 year olds. Running time 40 minutes.
